APPEARANCE
Hellhound, noun, (1) demon in the form of a dog, (2) guardian of the gateways to hell and hunter of lost souls.
Such definitions prove to be the perfect way to describe a certain hollow who calls himself Naberius. Similar to a doberman pincher in appearance, the male exists as large as your full-sized horse. The vast majority of his fur is short and holds the same color as soot. It stretches across the vast majority of his face, torso, limbs, and even flows back into his spear-headed tail that wags and whips around in often a menacing but hypnotic manner. His underbelly holds a rusty blood-red hue to it and defines the base of his maw and feet. Its shade prevents noticeable staining from the frequent spills upon the area.
This, however, ends whatever semblance to a canine Naberius holds as the corruption of a hollow has shifted and evolved him into quite the predator. Fitting, his mask covers the vast majority of his skull and shields it from harm. Constructed out of what appears to be bone, it holds only a few openings for his eyes, nose, and ears. Jutting upwards from his brow are two large spiraled ram-like horns. This continues a theme as the bone protrusions of his spine and ribcage emerge pierce through his skin. Contact with these bones for even the briefest of amounts is often enough to draw blood from your average human.
PERSONALITY
At first glance, most assume Naberius is nothing more than a bloodthirsty hollow who has a particular appetite for the souls of the spiritually strong. On one hand, they would be completely correct and should fear for their lives. On the other, however, they would be so wrong. There so much more to the canine than just ripping his teeth into a being’s flesh and feasting upon them until they have become one. Trained under the strict teachings of a military regime, Naberius is a soldier through and through. He maintains a stern expression at nearly all times fit with proper posture lacing his form, cropped ears upright and always alert, and a sensitive nose always searching for those subtle changes in the environment.
While this comes in handy while hunting, he is perfectly fit to be a guard dog. This comes in the innate desire to protect the very humans he died serving. Whether it is a hopeless girl with no spiritual pressure to be noticed or a strong male who can create blasts of energy to eradicate anything in his path, the canine holds a deep rooted protectiveness for those of the human persuasion. In many ways, one could even say he holds a symbiotic relationship with these beings. In exchange for keeping them save, he is able to feast upon the flesh of those who dare to cause them harm and thus grow stronger in the long run.
The dog isn’t much of a social butterfly. He tends to stick to the shadows and observe as opposed to discussing and starting conversation on his own. Because of his always rigid demeanor, it takes a lot for a person to get him to relax and get his tail to wag. As much as he hates to admit it, a scratch between his bony horns and rubs across his belly is perhaps the easiest way to accomplish this. Warning: such actions might result in a tongue bath.

Description: Hollows represent the bane of comfort. Monstrous, loathsome, and vicious, hollows strike fear into pluses and shinigami alike. This technique capitalizes on the fear hollows create and takes it one step further. By emanating their dread reiatsu, some hollows can cause opponents of equal advantage or lower to be momentarily frozen in fear. The reiatsu emanated actually curls around their bodies like unseen manacles for about the same time as the shinigami kidou equivalent, Sai.

Description: Gathering reiatsu into the whole body, the user forces the gathered reiatsu out of the body forcefully, into a burst out manner, that is able to form a sonic blast, traveling at Half Bala speeds, at a 360 degree area around them, making the ground crack and damaging from the force anyone in range.

Description: Many hollows have been known to give off a recognizable roar or scream before attacking. For the most part, this just seems to announce their presence and intimidate the prey they stalk, but for some hollows this roar can cause far more damage than simple intimidation. A hollow with this ability can scream with enough power to cause a shock-wave of sonic force, traveling at Cero Speeds, strong enough to crack the earth around it and force opponents of equal or lesser rank backwards, injuring their hearing and sense of balance.

Description: A powerful technique has the user using the energy itself on their hand or leg. The energy surrounds the target limb until it glows light blue. This technique when used correctly can turn the selected limb into a blade of pure energy. The blade of fire burns at a highly accelerated rate and being cut by something like this is dangerous to the body. It may feel like a regular cut but as the battle goes on, the cut made on to the body lowers the natural movement of the opponent by 1 advantage and damages them from within. Which only last for like two to three posts.

Description: One of the main qualities of Naberius’ capability as a hollow is its ability to manipulate and create intense fires from anywhere upon his body or by igniting anything around in intense flames (25 radial meters). In most instances, these fires are merely Tier II in power. Through concentration, however, this may increase to Tier III or IV. By using pre-existing fire as a catalyst, the hollow may launch a fiery projectile or stream at Bala (II), Half-Cero (III), and Cero (IV) speeds respectively.

Description: Fitting of any canine, Naberius holds advanced sensory perception within his sense of smell and hearing. This essentially creates a 50 meter dome around the hollow in which he essentially is aware of everything that goes on. His nose is capable of picking up the subtle differences in individuals reiatsu that allows him to track down targets he has met before while his ears are able to hear the faintest of sounds of anything around him. Things like the fluctuations of a heartbeat to the sound of muscle fibers dragging across one another to even a pen dropping in a noisy train station. Though normally only covering a range of about 50 meters, he may actively double this to 100 meters if out of combat.

Description: Possessing the shrill call of a grim reaper, Naberius will channel his reiryoku through his vocal cords before arching his head to the sky. He will then release a loud, eerie howl that echoes throughout the immediate area. This sound is greatly frightening and seems to echo deeply through one’s very bones, even if they don’t directly hear it. Anyone caught within range of this technique will suffer a -2 Advantage in Speed due to an uncontrollable tremble their limbs seem to demonstrate. This effect lasts for 5 posts and holds a cooldown for 10.

Range: Self, 0m-100m
Description: Covered in skeletal bones, Naberius holds the ability to directly manipulate the growth, shape, and density of these bones through utilization of his reiryoku. This allows him to create various constructions to attack, defense, etc. This may simply act as a protrusion from his body or be launched forward in the form of a projectile. The speed of growth is determined by tier: Tier II travels at Bala speeds, Tier III travels at Half-Cero speeds, and Tier IV travels at Cero speeds.
